Sarrao Immigration ("we", "us") is an immigration consultancy based in Brampton, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to meet our obligations under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form or email us, we collect your name, email address, telephone number and whatever you choose to tell us about your situation.
• Booking information. Appointments are booked through Square. Square collects and processes that information under its own privacy policy; we receive the booking details.
• Reviews. Google reviews are displayed through a third-party widget (Elfsight). Loading it involves a request to that provider.
• Technical information. Our web host records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to assess eligibility where you have asked us to, to provide services you retain us for, and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to us as a regulated consultancy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising to you.

Confidentiality

Information you share with a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants' Code of Professional Conduct. We disclose it to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada or other authorities only where you have authorised us to act for you, or where the law requires it.

Retention

We keep client files for the period required by our professional obligations, and enquiry correspondence for no longer than is needed to deal with it.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or withdraw consent to our use of it, subject to any legal or professional obligation that requires us to retain it. Write to info@sarraoimmigration.ca.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Embedded third-party components (the Square booking flow and the Elfsight reviews widget) may set their own cookies when loaded.
